Supporting Kelly Carline

A Journey Back to Hockey Excellence

We’re proud to sponsor and support local talent like Kelly Carline. Originally from Levin and now living in Whanganui, Kelly balances her role as a Case Manager at Whanganui Prison with her passion for hockey.

Recently Kelly has been named in the Manawatu Women’s Hockey Team for the Nation Hockey Championship this year. While she had to take 4 months off over last summer due to a blood clot in her leg, Kelly wisely used this time to work on her fitness in other areas.

Last Sunday our Manawatu Women’s team had a practice game against Wellington and wone 5 nil!

The tournament this year will be held in Christchurch form the 14th to 20th September. Last year the team came 4th, but this year are gunning for a medal!

Kelly’s goal following the tournament is to make the Premier Hockey League Central Falcons team.

We’re excited to support Kelly as she works towards her goals.
