Welcoming 2025 with Gratitude and Optimism
Bryce, Mary, and the entire Beaver Tree Service team would like to sincerely thank all our clients for their ongoing support. We’re excited about the opportunities 2025 brings — from expert tree care and strong client relationships to new team achievements and community impact. Here’s to a safe, successful, and tree-filled year ahead.
Teamwork in Action: Helping Templeton Golf Club
In Christchurch, our team recently assisted the Templeton Golf Club with the removal of a large, unstable tree that had become a hazard on the course. Our qualified arborists developed a safe and efficient removal plan, but what truly stood out was the help we received from the club’s volunteers.
With great teamwork and community spirit, the volunteers helped clear branches and tidy up debris, allowing the job to run smoothly and efficiently. Thanks to this shared effort, the tree was removed with minimal disruption — a great example of what can be achieved when communities and professionals work together.
Emergency Crane Job in Whanganui: Storm Response
In Whanganui, wild weather brought down a massive tree limb onto a residential garage late one night. The damage was significant, and the homeowner reached out through our emergency line. By sunrise, our experienced crew was on-site assessing the scene.
Due to the size and weight of the fallen branch, a crane was brought in to safely lift it off the damaged structure. The swift and skilled response from our team ensured no further damage occurred and gave the homeowner peace of mind. It’s a reminder of how unpredictable nature can be, and the value of regular tree maintenance.

Feline Rescue in Taupō: A Purr-fect Ending
Our Taupō crew answered an unusual call earlier this month, a cat stranded high in a tree. CARE Animal Rescue reached out, and within the hour, our arborists were on-site. Despite efforts to coax the cat down, it became clear he wasn’t coming down on his own.
With patience and care, our team climbed up and brought the frightened feline safely back to the ground. It was a proud and heartwarming moment, showing that no job is too small when it comes to helping our community.
Aria’s 2025 Season Is Off to a Strong Start
We’re thrilled to continue sponsoring Aria, a young squash player who’s already off to an impressive start this year. Her season began with a strong training camp in Auckland, where she beat three U19 competitors, setting the tone for what’s to come.
After relocating from Dunedin to Tauranga to train full-time, Aria competed in the Rochelle Hobbs Henderson Open — a key event that helped boost her world ranking and earned her a spot on the NZ Trans-Tasman team as the youngest, first-year U19 player.
She then reached the semifinals at the New Zealand Junior Open, playing on the iconic glass court at Christchurch’s Isaac Royal Theatre. Though she narrowly missed a podium finish, she was the only top-four player eligible to return next year, a very promising sign.
Between tournaments, Aria trained with coach Evan Williams in Wellington and wrapped up the trip by watching Paul Coll win the Men’s NZ Open, an inspiring experience for a young athlete with big dreams.
We’re incredibly proud to support Aria and can’t wait to see what she achieves next!
